Analysis of preliminary task
In the first scene with Frank in there quite a lot of camera wobble. There reason for this is that the tripod that we had did not go high enough so we had to try and hold it steady. This in my opinion is the worst shot in the film. The sound at this point is very quiet and it is hard to hear the dialogue.
The over the shoulder of John looking at frank is good as it shows the character speaking however, it deems a bit too close to Johns head it could be moved to the right more so that there is less of John and more of Frank in shot.
The camera work is steady and the sound improves for the rest of the film. The mise-en-scène is good as there is nothing in the background of one shot that is not in another. The chairs stay in the same place and it all seems to be smooth.
After frank says about summer 1984 John gets up. This shot is too quick and seems out of place the reason for this is as John stood up it cut his top and head out of the shot so it looked strange. I would of liked to re-film this part but time was against us.
